In 2006 Thompson & Page (Florida Museum of Natural History) re-classified the genera Hara as Erethistes.
Therefore making Hara a synonym of Erethistes.
ACSI and Fish Base* now use Erethistes inplace of Hara; so making Hara hara, Erethistes hara; Hara horai, Erethistes horai; etc.

*note: Fish base is still to be updated in some area's.

In Thai ,most people call "Plar - Khar - Yui". there are some like this fish. I've ever keep in pair from East of Thailand .Not easy to keep maybe causes are concern about water parametre or others.
